We can do for you

Australian Hosting.

Speed matters, so we locate our web server in Sydney, Australia to provide fast, reliable website performance for your Australian customers.

Setup + Deployment.

We set up the hosting space, install your website, delegate the domain name to point to the new server and test the deployment after the site goes live.

Server Monitoring.

We scan the server in search of any irregularities or potential failures and fix any problems before they develop into major issues or service disruption.

Security Updates.

We maintain the security of the server, including operating system patches and updates, virus scanning, spam filtering and firewall configuration.

Back-ups + Roll-backs.

We provide nightly back-ups (rolling for 7 days) and off-site back-ups every 2 months. Made a mistake and need a roll-back? We do the roll-backs for you at no charge.

Hardware Upgrades.

We like fast, shiny new things as much as you do. We upgrade the server's hardware components when new, improved options become available.

Performance Maintenance.

We take care of the day-to-day running and maintenance of the server to ensure that it is running optimally, fine-tuning server settings and upgrading server software when updates become available.

Local Support.

One of the biggest benefits of managed hosting is that – if there ever is an issue with the server or your hosted email – there is qualified support on hand via phone or email to assist you.

Optional WP Updates.

If we're hosting your Wordpress site, we can run your Wordpress Core and Wordpress plugin updates for you, offering you complete peace of mind knowing that your website is being kept secure.

Outbound Spam Protection.

We use a third-party system that prevents the server from getting black-listed if you inadvertently start sending out spam emails.

Managed Email.

We provide managed email services as part of the hosting package. We can add/remove email accounts for you, setup forwarders, email autoresponders, email redirections and setup webmail.

Email Fallback

We provide another off-site server - if the main server goes offline, your incoming emails will be sent to the fallback server, and then sent to you when it's back online.

The Design Process

To offer you a custom digital web design solution, we first seek a deep understanding of your business, with a particular focus on your unique requirements.

In the design phase, we create conversion focused design concepts and combine them with your brand's identity to create a beautiful website design.

Our website developers then work towards the outlined objectives to deliver search engine optimised front-end code for your website.

And from there, the back-end development phase: where our team of web developers write clean, speed-optimised code to make all the parts work together.

SSD Storage

SSD Storage

Solid State Drives (SSD) are the backbone of any good server. Think of them as the space where the website sits. The bigger your website, the more space it will take up, and the more SSD Storage it will need.

Older servers use Hard Disk Drives (HDD), but SSDs are much faster and more efficient at serving up websites. Any good modern server should be using SSDs. Our server uses dual SSDs (one SSD is a mirror of the other), so if one fails the other will continue to serve the websites until the first SSD can be replaced. Built in redundancies like this make our server extremely reliable.

Bandwidth

Bandwidth is the amount of data being sent over a month. The more traffic you have, or the bigger the website, the more bandwidth you may require.

99% of our clients use less than 20GB of bandwidth, meaning that even our Startup and Basics managed hosting plans are more than enough for most websites.

RAM (Memory)

RAM is the memory of the server. If there's not enough memory, and you're getting a lot of traffic, it would be like making visitors wait in line to receive your website - and no one should have to wait!

Our hosting plans have more than enough RAM for a typical Wordpress website - 2GB is plenty for a well built website.

CPU Cores

CPU Cores are the server's processors. The higher the number of CPU Cores, the more processing power your server will have.

One CPU Core provides a moderate amount of processing power, suitable for typical websites built on Wordpress, however our managed hosting plans start with two CPU Cores to allow for any spikes in traffic.
